AURORA POLICE DEPARTMENT CONTACT
The Police Area Representative (PAR) Officer for Country Lane is Officer Ed Acuti. His role is to be aware of, and deal with, quality-of-life issues for the residents in the area. PAR Officers handle problem solving, education and prevention, and are available to offer assistance on problems that have a detrimental impact on the quality of life in neighborhoods. Often these issues involve more than just the community and the police, and he is able to bring together all the forces required to try and solve a particular problem.
Be aware, though, that our PAR Officer is not necessarily the first person to call when you need the police. Instead...
- For emergencies, call 9-1-1. An emergency would be a crime in progress – something that you see as it is happening. If you call 9-1-1 and the dispatcher determines it is not an emergency, be prepared to be placed on hold while the dispatcher handles more pressing calls.
- For non-emergencies, call 303-627-3100. A non-emergency would be something like a burglary that happened earlier and was just discovered, an auto theft, or the like.
- For quality-of-life issues, call Officer Acuti at 303-627-3175, or e-mail .
If you are aware of crime activity in the neighborhood, let Officer Acuti and me know so that we can get the word out to the rest of your neighbors. If you have any suggestions or issues relative to crime prevention that you’d like to share, please let me know.
